Alabama High School Basketball - Mars Hill Bible overwhelms Hatton
January 9, 2023: Town Creek, AL 35672 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Mars Hill Bible Panthers (Florence, AL) and the host Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL), saw Mars Hill Bible's basketball squad wallop Hatton by a tally of 77-54.
With the victory, Mars Hill Bible improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Tharptown (Russellville, AL) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Area 16 challenge on Monday, January 23. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-7.
Next up, the Hornets play the Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL) in a 2A Area 16 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Hatton will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 57-55 non-league loss to Lawrence County (Moulton, AL).
