The Rootstown Rovers basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Alliance Aviators to 53 in the Rovers non-league victory on Monday.

The Rovers now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mogadore for a Portage Trail contest on Wednesday, January 11. Rootstown will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 55-29 non-league win over Coventry (Akron, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-4.

The Aviators (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Carrollton (Carrollton, OH). The Warriors come into the Eastern Buckeye contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Carrollton was defeated by Tuscarawas Central Catholic (New Philadelphia, OH), 41-39, in a non-league contest.
