Ohio High School Basketball - Fairmont nips Butler
January 9, 2023: Vandalia, OH 45377 Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Butler Aviators (Vandalia, OH), 38-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Fairmont upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Springboro (Springboro, OH) to play the Panthers in a Greater Western Ohio bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Springboro lost 35-34 in their recent non-league bout against Lebanon (Lebanon, OH)
Next up, the Aviators play the Troy Trojans (Troy, OH) in a Miami Valley - Miami bout, on Saturday, January 21. Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record.
