The Moon Valley Rockets routed the host Cortez Colts basketball team by a final score of 58-25 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Rockets face the Greenway Demons (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Skyline game, on Wednesday, January 11. Moon Valley will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.
