New Jersey High School Basketball - Highland Regional fells Deptford
January 9, 2023: Blackwood, NJ 08072 Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Deptford Spartans (Deptford, NJ), 36-20 in a league bout.
With the win, Highland Regional upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Tartans host Clearview (Mullica Hill, NJ) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Clearview won 67-30 in their recent non-league bout against Washington Township (Sewell, NJ)
Next up, the Spartans clash with the Pitman Panthers (Pitman, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Deptford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 44-17 non-league loss to Glassboro (Glassboro, NJ).
