Ohio High School Basketball - Garaway crushes Rittman
January 9, 2023: Rittman, OH 44270 Garaway Pirates (Sugarcreek, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Rittman Indians (Rittman, OH), 59-24 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Garaway upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH) to play the Cardinals in a Inter-Valley bout on Saturday, January 14. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Sandy Valley lost 58-12 in their recent league bout against Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH)
Next up, the Indians play the Dalton Bulldogs (Dalton, OH) in a Wayne County bout, on Thursday, January 12. Rittman will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 38-35 league loss to Smithville (Smithville, OH).
