North Dakota High School Basketball - Hazen holds off Richardton-Taylor
January 9, 2023: Hazen, ND 58545 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND) and the visiting Richardton-Taylor Raiders (Richardton, ND), saw Hazen's basketball squad hold off Richardton-Taylor by a tally of 45-38.
With the victory, Hazen improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bison travel to New England (New England, ND) to confront the Tigers in a B Region 7 challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. New England won 62-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Mandaree (Mandaree, ND)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils (Hettinger, ND) in a B Region 7 challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Richardton-Taylor will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Black Devils come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 53-38 league loss to Killdeer (Killdeer, ND).
