The Southwestern Trojans basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Olean Huskies to 38 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fredonia for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - West I contest on Thursday, January 12. Southwestern will battle a Hillbillies team coming off a 45-30 league loss to Dunkirk (Dunkirk, NY). The Hillbillies record now stands at 3-6.

The Huskies (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph (Randolph, NY). The Cardinals enter the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - West I contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Randolph ran past Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY), 74-34, in a league contest.
