Virginia High School Basketball - Isle of Wight Academy nudges Suffolk Christian Academy
January 9, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434 Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Suffolk Christian Academy Knights (Suffolk, VA), 17-16 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Isle of Wight Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.
Next up, the Knights clash with the New Life Academy Bobcats (Elizabeth City, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Suffolk Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 28-10 league loss to Bethel Assembly Christian Academy (Windsor, NC).
