Washington, DC High School Basketball - Anacostia holds off Eastern
January 9, 2023: Washington, DC 20003 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC) and the host Eastern Ramblers (Washington, DC), saw Anacostia's basketball squad hold off Eastern by a tally of 48-47.
With the victory, Anacostia improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to School Without Walls (Washington, DC) to confront the Penguins in a challenge on Monday, January 30. The Penguins come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
Next up, the Ramblers confront the Ballou Knights (Washington, DC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Eastern will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 62-42 league loss to Cardozo (Washington, DC).
