January 9, 2024: Waterford, CT 06385 Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT), 87-34 in a league bout.
With the victory, Waterford upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Lancers host Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT) to play the Centaurs in a Eastern Connecticut II bout on Friday, January 12. The Centaurs come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Woodstock Academy won 62-53 in their recent league bout against Killingly (Killingly, CT)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut II bout, on Friday, January 12. Bacon Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Redmen come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 62-53 league loss to Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT).
