Alabama High School Basketball - Florala tops Brantley
January 9, 2024: Florala, AL 36442 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Florala Wildcats (Florala, AL) and the visiting Brantley Bulldogs (Brantley, AL), saw Florala's basketball squad knock off Brantley by a tally of 57-42.
With the victory, Florala improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Houston County (Columbia, AL) to play the Lions in a 1A Area 2 challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. Houston County lost 67-50 in their recent league challenge against Elba (Elba, AL)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Kinston Bulldogs (Kinston, AL) in a 1A Area 2 challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Brantley will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 61-41 non-league loss to Opp (Opp, AL).
