Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA), 86-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Broad Run upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 12-0. Potomac Falls won 79-67 in their recent league bout against Independence (Ashburn, VA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Gar-Field Red Wolves (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Park View will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Red Wolves come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 57-30 league win over Charles J. Colgan (Manassas, VA).
