January 9, 2024: Carmel, CA 93922 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Carmel Padres (Carmel, CA) and the visiting Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA), saw Carmel's basketball squad overcome Salinas by a tally of 70-51.
With the victory, Carmel improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Padres travel to Monterey (Monterey, CA) to confront the Dores in a PCAL - Gabilan challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Dores come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Monterey lost 84-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Clovis North (Fresno, CA)
Next up, the Cowboys confront the Everett Alvarez Eagles (Salinas, CA) in a PCAL - Gabilan challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Salinas will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 46-44 league loss to Palma (Salinas, CA).
