Arkansas High School Basketball - Clarendon trounces Midland
January 9, 2024: Pleasant Plains, AR 72568 The Clarendon Lions (Clarendon, AR) basketball crushed the host Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR), 74-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Marvell (Marvell, AR). The Mustangs go into the 1A Region 5 test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Marvell was trounced by Augusta (Augusta, AR), 67-50, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Brinkley for a 1A Region 5 test on Friday, January 12. Midland will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 66-31 league win over Scott Charter (Scott, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 14-2.
