Alabama High School Basketball - New Hope knocked off by Cornerstone Christian

The Cornerstone Christian Chargers basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting New Hope Indians to 39 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evangel Christian Academy for a AISA A Region 1 contest on Friday, January 12. Cornerstone Christian will meet a Lions team coming off a 60-34 league win over Coosa Valley Academy (Harpersville, AL). The Lions record now stands at 9-7.

The Indians (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL). The Patriots enter the 4A Area 14 contest with a 14-6 record.
