Washington High School Basketball - McLoughlin trounces Dayton
January 9, 2024: Dayton, WA 99328 The McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR) basketball crushed the host Dayton Bulldogs (Dayton, WA), 64-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pioneers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against La Grande (La Grande, OR). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, La Grande was trounced by Baker (Baker City, OR), 68-31, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Yakama Nation Tribal for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Dayton will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 70-32 league loss to DeSales (Walla Walla, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-8.
