Ohio High School Basketball - Meigs thwarts Fort Frye
January 9, 2024: Pomeroy, OH 45769 The Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH), 75-66 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Marauders (9-2) will now prepare for their test against River Valley (Bidwell, OH). The Raiders go into the Tri-Valley I test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, River Valley went down by Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV), 57-31, in a non-league test.
The Cadets now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Point Pleasant for a Twin State test on Friday, January 12. Fort Frye will encounter a Big Blacks squad coming off a 57-31 non-league win over River Valley (Bidwell, OH). The Big Blacks record now stands at 4-5.
