January 9, 2024: Maurepas, LA 70449 The Maurepas Wolves (Maurepas, LA) basketball felled the visiting St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA), 53-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wolves (4-15) will now prepare for their test against Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 3-9 record.
The Eagles now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to False River for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 10. St. John will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 55-46 non-league win over Berchmans Academy (Grand Coteau, LA). The Gators record now stands at 7-12.
