Maine High School Basketball - Noble nudges Thornton Academy
January 9, 2024: Berwick, ME 03906 Noble Knights (Berwick, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME), 80-74 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Noble upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Biddeford (Biddeford, ME) to clash with the Tigers in a A South bout on Friday, January 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Biddeford lost 79-54 in their recent league bout against Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME)
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Falmouth Navigators (Falmouth, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Thornton Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Navigators go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 59-41 non-league loss to Windham (Windham, ME).
