Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sharon overwhelms West Middlesex
January 9, 2024: Sharon, PA 16146 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA) and the visiting West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA), saw Sharon's basketball squad wallop West Middlesex by a tally of 73-26.
With the victory, Sharon improves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA) to play the Rockets in a District 10 Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Slippery Rock won 55-45 in their recent league challenge against Fairview (Fairview, PA)
Next up, the Big Reds play the Rocky Grove Orioles (Franklin, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. West Middlesex will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Orioles come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 74-43 non-league win over Reynolds (Greenville, PA).
