In Tuesday's league match, the host Cordell Blue Devils basketball team scored a good 59-46 triumph over the Carnegie Wildcats.

In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Sayre Eagles (Sayre, OK) in a Shortgrass match, on Friday, January 12. Cordell will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 1-6 record after their 73-20 non-league loss to Merritt (Elk City, OK).
