Michigan High School Basketball - Colon tops Norrix
January 9, 2024: Colon, MI 49040 Colon Magi (Colon, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Norrix Knights (Kalamazoo, MI), 52-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Colon upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Magi host Bellevue (Bellevue, MI) to play the Broncos in a Southern Central bout on Thursday, January 11. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Bellevue lost 56-22 in their recent league bout against Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI)
Next up, the Knights play the Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan - East bout, on Friday, January 12. Norrix will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 38-31 non-league win over Jackson (Jackson, MI).
