The Eastside Spartans basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Twin Springs Titans to 42 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to J.I. Burton for a Cumberland contest on Friday, January 12. Eastside will battle a Black Raiders team coming off a 63-44 league loss to Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 8-5.

The Titans (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA). The Pioneers enter the Cumberland contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Thomas Walker ran past Castlewood (Castlewood, VA), 48-34, in a league contest.
