In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Hammond Central Wolves basketball team scored a decisive 75-29 triumph over the Whiting Oilers.

In their next game, the Wolves meet the Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN) in a Great Lakes match, on Friday, January 19. Hammond Central will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record.
