The McClintock Chargers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Sierra Linda Bulldogs to 30 in the Chargers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Canyon for a 5A Metro contest on Thursday, January 11. McClintock will battle a Rattlers team coming off a 98-14 league win over Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 7-5.

The Bulldogs (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Phoenix, AZ). The Bobcats enter the 5A Metro contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Central was routed by South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ), 52-45, in a league contest.
