January 9, 2024: Meriden, CT 06451 The Wilcox RVT Wildcats (Meriden, CT) basketball nipped the visiting Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT), 41-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Platt RVT (Milford, CT). The Panthers go into the Connecticut Technical test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Platt RVT got by Goodwin Tech (New Britain, CT), 46-15, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Bristol Central for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Platt will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 58-43 non-league loss to Berlin (Berlin, CT). The Rams record now stands at 4-5.
