Utah High School Basketball - Salem Hills tops Timpview
January 9, 2024: Salem, UT 84653 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT) and the visiting Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT), saw Salem Hills's basketball squad knock off Timpview by a tally of 45-37.
With the victory, Salem Hills improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT) to play the Dons in a 5A Region 7 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Dons come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Spanish Fork won 38-30 in their recent league challenge against Springville (Springville, UT)
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT) in a 5A Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Timpview will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 38-30 league loss to Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT).
