Indiana High School Basketball - South Knox crushes Wood Memorial
January 9, 2024: Oakland City, IN 47660 South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN), 77-47 in a league bout.
With the win, South Knox upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Spartans host North Daviess (Elnora, IN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-13. North Daviess lost 50-37 in their recent league bout against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN)
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Wood Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN).
