January 9, 2024: Portales, NM 88130 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) and the host Portales Rams (Portales, NM), saw Moriarty's basketball squad wallop Portales by a tally of 50-24.
With the victory, Moriarty improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Pintos host East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM) to confront the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. East Mountain lost 60-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM)
Next up, the Rams confront the Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Portales will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 48-44 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM).
