January 9, 2024: Concord, CA 94521 The Concord Minutemen soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mt. Eden Monarchs to 1 in the Minutemen non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Minutemen face the Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) in a Diablo - Valley contest, on Thursday, January 11. Concord will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Dons enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA).
The Monarchs now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piedmont for a West Alameda County - Foothill contest on Friday, January 12. Mt. Eden will face a Highlanders team coming off a 3-0 league win over San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-0.
