Minnesota High School Basketball - Anoka bests Spring Lake Park
January 9, 2025: Spring Lake Park, MN 55432 The Anoka Tornadoes basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Spring Lake Park Panthers to 56 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tornadoes now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Andover for a AAAA Section 7 game on Monday, January 13. Anoka will confront a Huskies team coming off a 92-57 non-league loss to Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Spring Lake Park falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Sunday, January 12. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 1-10.
