The Prout Crusaders basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE to 27 in the Crusaders league triumph on Thursday.

The Crusaders now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Tiverton for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Prout will confront a Tigers team coming off a 47-46 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Blackstone Valley Prep falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Pride travel to Central Falls (Central Falls, RI) to confront the Warriors in a Division III game on Monday, January 13. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 2-6. Central Falls won 62-55 in their recent league game against Hope (Providence, RI)
