January 9, 2025: Redfield, SD 57469 The Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD) basketball crushed the host Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), 74-49 in Thursday's league bout.
The Braves now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Great Plains Lutheran for a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. Britton-Hecla will play a Panthers team coming off a 49-23 non-league win over Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Redfield falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Pheasants host Miller (Miller, SD) to play the Rustlers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Rustlers go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Miller lost 57-50 in their recent non-league bout against Parkston (Parkston, SD)
