The International Community Comets basketball squad (Winter Park, FL), was outscored 71-61 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC)

With the victory, Carolina Day advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 9-4.

The Comets now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Mary Prep for a 1A District 7 battle on Tuesday, January 14.
