South Carolina High School Basketball - Cheraw held off by Central

January 9, 2025: Pageland, SC 29728

In Thursday's league test, the Central Eagles (Pageland, SC) basketball squad got by the visiting Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC), by a score of 68-61.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Buford Yellow Jackets (Lancaster, SC) in a AA Region 4 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Central will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record.

The Braves (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC). The Golden Rams come into the AA Region 4 test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Chesterfield was nipped by York Prep (Rock Hill, SC), 83-61, in a league test.
