January 9, 2025: Medical Lake, WA 99022 Medical Lake Cardinals (Medical Lake, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA), 75-59 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Medical Lake upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Reardan (Reardan, WA) to face the Screaming Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Screaming Eagles enter the match with a record of 10-1. Reardan won 87-66 in their recent league match against St. George's (Spokane, WA)
The Gorillas now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newport for a 2B Bi-County match on Tuesday, January 14. Davenport will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 68-49 non-league loss to Riverside (Chattaroy, WA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-11.
