Maryland High School Basketball - University crushes Fort Hill
January 9, 2025: Cumberland, MD 21502 The University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) basketball crushed the host Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD), 69-46 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Musselman for a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. University will play a Applemen team coming off a 74-33 league loss to Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV). The Applemen record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Fort Hill falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Allegany (Cumberland, MD) to play the Campers in a Appalachian bout on Friday, January 10. The Campers go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Allegany lost 72-54 in their recent non-league bout against South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD)
