In Thursday's league contest, the host Fort Mill Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a big 62-37 triumph over the Northwestern Trojans.

The Yellow Jackets (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Warriors go into the AAAAA Region 3 contest with a 15-1 record.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Rock Hill Bearcats (Rock Hill, SC) in a AAAAA Region 3 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Northwestern will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 65-57 league win over Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC).
