In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Glencoe Crimson Tide basketball team scored a close 44-43 win over the McDaniel Mountain Lions .

The Crimson Tide (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sherwood (Sherwood, OR). The Bowmen come into the 6A Pacific contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Sherwood edged Sandy (Sandy, OR), 79-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions battle the Cleveland Warriors (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland contest, on Friday, January 10. McDaniel will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
