North Dakota High School Basketball - Stanley nips New Town
January 9, 2025: Stanley, ND 58784 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Stanley Blue Jays (Stanley, ND) and the visiting New Town Eagles (New Town, ND), observed Stanley's basketball team edge New Town by a margin of 67-60.
The Blue Jays (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity (Dickinson, ND). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Trinity was tipped by Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND), 60-50, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Beulah Goldiggers (Beulah, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. New Town will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Goldiggers come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 67-58 non-league win over Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND).
