Iowa High School Basketball - St. Albert crushes West Monona
January 9, 2025: Council Bluffs, IA 51503 The St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA) basketball crushed the visiting West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA), 71-31 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Harlan for a Hawkeye Ten bout on Friday, January 10. St. Albert will play a Cyclones team coming off a 54-42 league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, West Monona falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Westwood (Sloan, IA) to play the Rebels in a Western Valley - North bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Westwood lost 55-49 in their recent non-league bout against South O'Brien (Paullina, IA)
