Rhode Island High School Basketball - Portsmouth fells La Salle Academy
January 9, 2025: Providence, RI 02908 The Portsmouth Patriots basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host La Salle Academy Rams to 31 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Portsmouth will confront a Kilties team coming off a 69-59 non-league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, La Salle Academy falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Rams host Barrington (Barrington, RI) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-3.
