Illinois High School Basketball - Galesburg knocks off Alleman
January 9, 2025: Rock Island, IL 61201 In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Galesburg Silver Streaks basketball team scored a good 53-34 win over the Alleman Pioneers.
The Silver Streaks (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, LaSalle-Peru defeated Marquette (Ottawa, IL), 55-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Bettendorf Bulldogs (Bettendorf, IA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Alleman will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 68-27 league win over Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA).
