North Dakota High School Basketball - Central Cass bests Wahpeton

January 9, 2025: Wahpeton, ND 58075

The Central Cass Squirrels basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Wahpeton Huskies to 57 in the Squirrels league triumph on Thursday.

The Squirrels now possess a 11-0 record. They play next when they host Beulah for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Central Cass will confront a Goldiggers team coming off a 59-29 non-league loss to Bottineau (Bottineau, ND). The Goldiggers record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Wahpeton falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Northern Cass (Hunter, ND) to confront the Jaguars in a A Region 1 game on Monday, January 13. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 6-5. Northern Cass lost 56-55 in their recent league game against Oak Grove Lutheran (Fargo, ND)
