January 9, 2025: Wilmot, SD 57279 Florence/Henry Falcons (Florence, SD) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD), 45-34 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Florence/Henry advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Falcons travel to Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD) to face the Elks in a A Region 2 match on Friday, January 10. The Elks enter the match with a record of 3-3. Elkton/Lake Benton lost 50-14 in their recent non-league match against Tri-Valley (Colton, SD)
The Wolves now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waubay/Summit for a B Region 1 match on Saturday, January 11. Wilmot will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 40-25 non-league win over Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-4.
