The Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) basketball crushed the host South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), 70-27 in Thursday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Albemarle for a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley bout on Tuesday, January 14. Mount Pleasant will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 65-59 league loss to Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, South Stanly falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Rowdy rebel bulls travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to play the Comets in a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley bout on Tuesday, January 14.
