January 9, 2025: Cumberland, RI 02864 Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI), 32-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cumberland advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Clippers travel to Johnston (Johnston, RI) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-2.
The Saints now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chariho for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14.
