New Mexico High School Basketball - Hope Christian overwhelms St. Pius X
January 9, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87109 The Hope Christian Huskies basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting St. Pius X Sartans to 49 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Huskies now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they host West Mesa for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Hope Christian will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 47-44 non-league win over Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, St. Pius X falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Sartans host Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to confront the Rams in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Rams go into the game with a record of 8-0. Rio Rancho won 74-54 in their recent non-league game against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM)
