Louisiana High School Soccer - St. Martin's Episcopal toppled by Hammond
January 9, 2025: Hammond, LA 70401 Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hammond advances its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Slidell (Slidell, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a Division I District 4 test on Friday, January 10. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-10. Slidell lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Mandeville (Mandeville, LA)
The Saints now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northshore for a non-league test on Monday, January 13. St. Martin's Episcopal will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 1-0 league win over Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-4.
